1. Her father is a typical salaried businessman, her mother the owner of a florist shop. Her parents love to recall the tale of how her father had stopped by the shop one day to pick up flowers for his mother after getting into a bit of trouble and trying to get back into her good graces-- upon seeing the floral assistant, it was love at first sight. It doesn't take long for Yerim to come along, and they aptly draw inspiration for her name from where their romance bloomed.

2. Yerim has spent a lot of time at her mother's florist shop growing up. Even after entering university, she sometimes helps out her mother on the weekends for big events when she needs an extra hand. Yerim also helps her mother manage the shop's Instagram account, documenting the floral arrangements she crafts.

3. As she took on the task of managing the floral shop's Instagram during her high school years, two of Yerim's interests began to form-- one, for photography, and another for social media. They seem to go hand in hand, and Yerim begins to take the hobbies a little more seriously, even starting her own food Instagram to also fuel her passion for pretty aesthetics and delicious food.

4. It's a no brainer for Yerim to decide on Marketing as her major when she's accepted into Korea University, considering her interest specifically in the digital marketing realm. It's something that she's actually good at and enjoys, and Yerim knows she has a bright future ahead of her once she graduates.

And as much as she loves her family, Yerim decides that she wants to try and be a little more independent– her reason for moving into an apartment with two other girls after her freshman year in university. She also takes on a part time job at Fell + Cole, the trendy ice cream shop in the heart of Hongdae.

Yerim's food Instagram was born out of an obsession to go to the latest and trendiest restaurants and cafes so she could snap pictures of the pretty interiors and delicious food, sometimes with herself in the photos. What she hadn't expected were the strange DMs she would receive from strangers once her account started to pick up a bit of traction. At first, it seemed innocent enough– a personalized selca in exchange for some money? Sure, why not? A close up of her legs with the heels she'd worn while visiting Banana Tree Cafe? Okay, that's weird... and while Yerim has never fulfilled the more unusual requests (just an innocent selca or two), it's always in the back of her mind when her bank account is suffering from her spendy food excursions. Income is income, right?
